Faritsu’s Inspirations – Introducing Our Epoxy Resin and Flora Garments
As we continued our research towards delivering innovative garments, we discovered a number of exceptional craftspersons worldwide who inspired us to collaborate and experiment with the notion of attaching epoxy resin appliques to casualwear. Our particular interest was to preserve dried flora within durable epoxy resins to create captivating pieces capturing the essence of nature itself on fabric. And so, our premise was set.
All pieces were meticulously hand-made; a time-intensive but rewarding effort. We learnt about the epoxy-resin craft during the process following several trials and errors working with our talented collaborators.
However, the results were exhilarating. The charming appliques complimenting pure cotton mid-weight French Terry fabric was a vision come true! Look out for the next series of blogs where we’ll share further details and pictures of each of the four Launch Collection epoxy resin pieces:
